She explained the escrow process, how to shop rates, and interest rate buy-downs which we ended up doing. Marilyn gave me tours of several properties and she helped me spot some issues in a few properties we toured. I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for and it was so nice to have someone who does looking out for me. We found a great place for me after 3 weeks and Marilyn structured my offer to have the seller include a 3 point interest buy down which saves me a TON of money each month. She got me that AND a large price reduction AND some money back on repairs. I almost felt bad how hard Marilyn negotiated on my behalf. That and she intro'd me to a lender, a contractor, and insurance. Marilyn was so kind and patient with me but best of all she is extremely competent and that saved me a lot of money.
